According to Intel’s ‘Most Unwired Cities Survey‘ Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill ranked number 8 out of a 100 US cities. We ranked ABOVE; Boston, Chicago, LA, Philadelphia, etc.

That’s nuts. Besides the fact they include services that aren’t free, the only way I see that as realistic is if you factor in is University supplied access, which is generally only accessible to Duke, NCSU, UNC-CH, NCCU, etc. faculty, students and staff.
I have a certain amount of 1st hand experience with Wifi throughout the Triangle and we’re far away from where we could be….hmmm, now that I think about it a little more maybe this survey shows how lousy Wifi access is throughout the country
